From specification to finished fastener
The route depends on the fastener, grade and finish you need. We confirm the specification first, then manage the relevant production, quality and dispatch steps so you know what will arrive and when.
How a fastener takes shape
- 01
Material preparation
Material is selected to match the required grade and specification. Annealing, coating and drawing prepare it for forming where the part calls for those steps.
- 02
Forming and threading
The head and body are formed to the drawing, then threads are rolled to the specified series and fit.
- 03
Heat treatment and finish
Parts that require a particular strength or finish move through the relevant treatment and coating stages.
- 04
Inspection and packing
Dimensions, finish and batch paperwork are checked before the fasteners are packed for dispatch.
For a particular part, send us the drawing or DIN, ISO or other standard number. We will confirm the specification, available stock and documentation before quoting.
